Baxley Roberts is a native of Jacksonville Florida. He was recently awarded a Bachelor of Music Education, with concentrations in instrumental and vocal studies, from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. While primarily a euphonium player, he has gained experience as a multi- instrumentalist and vocalist during his time as an undergraduate. For the past five years, Baxley served as a music intern for the congregation of Second Presbyterian Church of Homewood, Alabama. He has now settled down in Norfolk to start his teaching career as the Band and Choir Director at Southside STEM Academy at Campostella. In addition, Baxley is currently pursuing a Master of Music Education with a concentration in Wind Band Conducting at Old Dominion University.
